The Digital Strategist, Ecommerce role is responsible for crafting and executing the Ecommerce strategy.  The ideal candidate is not afraid to challenge best practices and collaborate closely with their team to develop innovative ideas to solve your clients' challenges. While you understand the big picture, you also genuinely relish the chance to jump in and get your hands dirty. You’re fiercely collaborative and have an unwavering desire to solve problems. 


A successful Ecommerce Strategist will need to have a background in Ecommerce, with a good understanding of UX best practices and data-driven decision making. 


Responsibilities:

 

  • Be the day-to-day strategy point of contact for various clients.
  • Tasked with taking client-given business objectives and developing digital strategies through a mix of media planning, on-site UX and UI improvements, and campaign execution to achieve those targets. 
  • Lead and practice effective Ecommerce strategy across digital touchpoints (websites, apps, product launches, in-store digital experiences, and beyond)
  • Lead and execute the creation of user personas, user journey maps, user stories, use cases, flow charts, etc., to help connect the dots across product teams (i.e., turning pain points into delightful experiences)
  • Act as the strategy lead throughout project life-cycles, collaborating closely with clients, account managers, front-end developers, and creatives.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required
  • 2+ years experience in a Direct to Consumer or Ecommerce marketing role required
  • Strong experience in defining the direction, experience, functionality, and marketing services of either a new or existing online offering.
  • Experience in data-driven optimization of media, experience, promotion, checkout flow, and all other aspects of performance-driven Ecommerce
  • Experience in test-and-learn approach to website optimization
  • Proven ability to directly interface with stakeholders and executives
  • Exceptional planning and execution skills
  • Experience with Google Analytics or other analytics platforms
  • Must be organized and comfortable working on tight deadlines
